Jamari Thrash, Louisville's leading receiver, has opted out of the Holiday Bowl, the school announced in an email Monday morning. Thrash, who transferred in from Georgia State this season, will also forego his final year of eligibility.

He's the second Cardinal to opt out of the bowl game after running back Jawhar Jordan, who led the team with 1,128 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns, announced his intention to do the same Dec. 13.

In his lone season with the Cardinals, Thrash totaled 858 yards and six touchdowns on 63 catches while starting in 10 of 12 games while helping the team to a 10-3 season and the program's first ACC championship appearance. The Georgia native suffered a wrist injury this season and missed one game, earning all-ACC second team honors.

According to Draft Tek, Thrash is listed 30th among draft-eligible wide receivers.

Thrash has accepted an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl, on Feb. 3 in Mobile, Alabama, the school said.
